A still, quiet practice, cultivating mindfulness, and targeting the release of muscular and deeper connective tissue tension in the body, though the holding of seated or reclined poses or 3 to 5 minutes.
A class designed to create deep relaxation, ease tension, promote calm and soothe the nervous system.Slowly paced, simple restorative movements, simple breath and meditation practice. A gentle yoga class appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow paced and well supported practice. Each class will end with an extended period of relaxation.
This class is suitable for anyone, of any age or ability.
Intuitive Body Yoga
Come into your body, be your own guide, give space for whatever is present be it emotional, mental or physical, be seen without judgement. The session will begin with a short meditation and then be guided by music as we come into a vinyasa yoga flow with emphasis on alignment to wake up and nurture the body and prepare us for the final song where we are welcome to come into 10 minutes of guided free movement and finished with a short meditation.

Applied Yoga is both targeted and diverse, improving alignment, strength, flexibility, and general wellbeing through a therapeutic approach. Mindfully move to the rhythm of your own breath with vinyasa flow. Use this dynamic practice to ignite heat within the body, find your flow, and revitalize your being on all levels.
Yoga has become my way of life on a physical and spiritual level. It is a place I feel most at home, where I can meet myself exactly as I am and be at peace with that, and a place I can still continue to explore and grow. Always remaining a student.
With a background in Nursing, I have seen first hand the effects that long term stress and our western lifestyle has had on our health. I see yoga as an integral part of a healthy holistic way of living.
Yoga has ultimately been my best friend. It has been there through the good, bad and the ugly times. It has taken me to my edges in so many ways. It has beautifully shone a light on parts I had tucked away somewhere deep inside and allowed them to blossom again.

I discovered yoga after the birth of my 3rd child. My approach initially was to get my body back into shape after pregnancy and childbirth. However, I soon realized there are many layers to yoga - it is a lot more than just a physical practice.
These early beginnings in an Iyengar studio in Byron Bay under the guidance of some pretty awesome teachers was the foundation for a 28 year dedication to the practice.
My classes are designed for all ages, where age has no boundary and for all levels of experience, from the early beginner to the more experienced yogi. A linked asana sequence working with the breath, a steady moderate flow working on alignment, building strength & flexibility, to awaken the body, calm the mind and soothe the nervous system.
Mel is a qualified yoga instructor and Massage Therapist, and is well versed and qualified in nutrition, allowing her to holistically deliver a focused class and treatments.
Mel's yoga classes focus on drawing the mind to your inner self by finding the balance between poses that are comforting and ones that inspire to explore your potential. The combination of Mels experience as a fitness instructor, and remedial massage therapist, has led Mel to develop her own style of yoga. ‘Applied Yoga’ is both targeted and diverse, and aims to improve alignment, strength, flexibility, and general wellbeing through a therapeutic approach. ‘Applied Yoga’ embraces all levels of fitness and knowledge; inviting a deeper awareness between mind and body, with the aim to an improvement in overall health.
Georgie is a dedicated yoga teacher with a passion for creating warm, safe and connective spaces for others to explore their own yoga journey within. A teaching style which is largely influenced by Tantrik teachers such as Rod Stryker and Sally Kempton, with a deep reverence for traditional texts and yogic philosophy.
Georgie is most experienced in facilitating Vinyasa Glow classes for all levels and ages, as well as Yin and Yoga Nidra.
Kristy is a Yoga Teacher, Naturopath and Doula. Specialising in Pre and Post Natal Yoga as well as yoga for people who have experienced trauma or are suffering with mental health conditions. Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced yoga practitioner, Kristy offers classes to suit the individual’s needs. The focus of the yoga classes is on awareness of the body and breath as well as postural alignment. Modifications are made for people who have injuries or other physical limitations. Kristy has a background in Hatha, Iyengar and Yin yoga and incorporates these styles into her classes.
Meera is an authentic and whole-hearted yoga instructor. Her classes combine alignment with flow. After completing her teacher training course in 2016 in Peru, Meera has continued her personal study with the renowned Iyengar teacher Usha Devi in Rishikesh, India. For Meera, yoga goes beyond physical exercise, it is a tool that can be taken into everyday life, to help us find balance and freedom in our movements and in our mind.
Meera has spent the past two years living in an Ashram in Portugal, where she had the opportunity to dive deep into her own spiritual path and her understanding shines through her classes.
