A still, quiet practice, cultivating mindfulness, and targeting the release of muscular and deeper connective tissue tension in the body, though the holding of seated or reclined poses or 3 to 5 minutes.
A slow paced practice, designed to create calmness of mind, ease tension and to soothe the nervous system. Ideal for those new to yoga or the experienced yogi who would like to take their practice a little slower and deeper. Working with the breath, gently warming up the body, we use the wall for standing and balance poses to develop strength and alignment. Perfect for anyone, of any age or ability, who is looking for a well balanced, nurturing, supported practice.
A moderately paced vinyasa flow linked to the rhythm of the breath. Mindfully move to ignite warmth within the body and revitalise your well being on all levels. Vinyasa Flow improves flexibility, strength, balance and stamina. Create calm within and work to develop the union of the body, the mind and the soul.
Pre-Natal Yoga (Private)
These classes are suitable for pregnant people throughout all trimesters of the pregnancy. Yoga can be extremely helpful to assist various symptoms experienced during pregnancy, which may include: nausea, fatigue, back-pain, general aches and pains as well as stress. The classes are designed to stretch, strengthen and stabilise the body in preparation for labour as well as assisting in a good recovery post-partum. Incorporating visualisations to help you to connect with your baby as well as breathing and relaxation techniques to reduce stress and help you to prepare mentally and emotionally as you approach labour and motherhood.
