Kate's approach to therapy and yoga is an embodied person centred and relational stance, with an integration of the purities of the philosophies that she has been blessed to study. Gestalt psychotherapy, in particular offers a holistic and clinical approach, looking at the whole person and empowering and building awareness in the individual. It is a safe and relational methodology that sets the foundation for growth and healing.
Kate has worked in the disability sector and youth sector as a case manager and person centred planner through her early 20’s. More recently her work has been through The Butterfly Foundation in Sydney, working with presentations of Eating Disorders. Kate continues to work with this population through private practice and also using trauma sensitive yoga at HTC and in her practice in Sydney.
